Dr. Thompson AKA "KT"
Since 2012, KT’s work experience has centered around specialized military units, law enforcement, and other first responders in both schoolhouse and operational environments to optimize physical, cognitive, technical, and tactical performance. Additionally, she has over 13 years of experience optimizing performance with all levels and all types of recreational and competitive athletes, from both traditional and non-traditional sport backgrounds.
KT has two graduate degrees in human performance optimization (Ed.D in Kinesiology; M.S. in Human Movement and Performance). Additional letters attached to her name are: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), HeartMath Certified Trainer (HMCT), and a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) candidate.
In her (limited) spare time, you can find KT spending plenty of time outside in the sunshine, finding her sight picture at the range, lifting heavy things then putting them down, hanging out with her Mounted Patrol mustang Apache Cheveyo, and making memories with her kiddo on road trip adventures.
Dr. Wierzba AKA "JDUB"
Since 2010, JDub has spent her time working in a wide array of specialty areas that demand mental toughness – surgical doctors, ER nurses, military, law enforcement, first responders, and emergency medical personnel. She has also worked with athletes in sports such as pole vault, soccer, equestrian eventing, team roping, and racquetball.
After having worked with all these different types of people in all these different areas of professional and personal endeavors, it continues to be clear that people really do want to be the best version of themselves, to perform well when it matters, and she is honored to be able to share her expertise so you can get there.
JDub holds two graduate degrees in human performance optimization: a doctorate (Ed.D. in Kinesiology) and a masters degree (M.S. Sport Psychology). She is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) candidate and has a nutrition coaching certificate.
JDub enjoys drinking coffee, riding horses, hiking, snowboarding, walking her dogs, rowing, olympic lifting, drinking wine, and taking naps. And, in that order, sounds like a damn good day.
